Terms
A one-person shop in Indiana, cutting leather for firefighters. These are the terms you are agreeing to when you order, written the way I would say them on the phone.

Everything is made to order
Nothing is cut before you order. When you place an order you are commissioning a piece built to the options you picked, from a hide that gets cut for you.
The same day, you get an email with your options written back to you. Before the hide is stained and stitched, you get a photo of it cut and laid out, and that is the last chance to change any option. After that, the piece is in progress.
If your measurements look off, I call before I cut.
Prices and payment
Prices are in US dollars and are charged when you check out. Card payments are handled by Stripe, and the shop never sees your card number.
Departments ordering 6 pieces or more get bulk pricing and a single invoice. Purchase orders are fine, and departments can be invoiced net 30 instead of paying by card.
Quoted options such as a Premium build or a stamped emblem are priced by hand before the order goes through.
Custom orders
Custom work starts with a quote. Send the details through the custom order form and you get an answer, usually within 72 hours, with a price and a lead time. Work starts once you agree to that quote.
Made to measure on a standard piece is +$25. Anything stamped or tooled beyond the normal character stamp is a custom order.
Returns, repairs, and shipping
Made-to-order pieces cannot be returned, and fit or workmanship problems are fixed or remade free. The detail is on Returns and repairs, and delivery terms are on Shipping.
What this gear is not
This is traditional veg-tanned leather gear. It is not certified PPE and it is not NFPA rated. Check your department policy before you carry it on the fireground, and use your own judgment about where it belongs.
Leather is a natural material. Color shifts from hide to hide and veg-tan darkens with age and sunlight, so your piece will not match a photograph exactly.
Your content
If you send photos or a review, they stay yours. Nothing you send is published without asking you first, which is also how the feedback form works.
