Radio Strap Passport
A removable leather panel, about 1.5" by 5", carrying your truck or station number. It swaps on Chicago screws, so it comes off in a minute when you move. Order one to replace another, or a few so you can change it as often as you change trucks.

Built for the job
You move truck or station and the number is wrong. This is the part that changes, so the strap does not have to.
About 1.5" by 5", which is three 1" characters. A symbol counts as one of the three.
People who move around carry a few and swap them. They cost the same each.

Not NFPA-certified PPE. This is traditional veg-tanned leather gear. Check your department policy before you carry it on the fireground.
How your panel gets made
Nothing is cut before you order. Five weeks of bench time, in this order.
01Laid out on a single Hermann Oak side, around scars and stretchy belly.
02Your number struck one character at a time, then painted and outlined by hand.
03Conditioned, then sealed if you asked for Resolene, so it survives being handled every shift.
04Edges slicked and waxed, then UPS with the screws in the box.

How long until my order ships?
5–6 weeks from when you order. Everything is made after the order comes in. Rush placement is +$60 and ships in 10 business days.
Can you match my department's specs?
Usually. Send the spec sheet or a photo of an approved piece through the custom order form and I'll tell you straight whether I can match it.
Do you do department or bulk orders?
Yes. Six pieces or more gets bulk pricing and one invoice. Purchase orders are fine; net 30 for departments.
Can I return a custom piece?
Returns are accepted on non-custom items. Everything here is made to order, though. Once it's cut to your stamp, stain, and size, it's final sale. If the fit or workmanship is wrong, I fix or remake it at no charge. Email me first.
